Motivating Youth: Camille Lopez Commits to Inspiring the Next Generation

“I don’t want to go to class anymore!”

This is a phrase that we hear more and more often among young people, isn't it? But this phenomenon is not new.

But when you don't yet know what you're passionate about, how can you find the motivation to go to class?

This is why, for the year 2024, Camille Lopez has decided to get involved with the Wi-Filles program, an initiative supported by Les entreprises s'engagent, in collaboration with the Face Var action.

Her goal is simple: to dedicate a few hours each quarter to talking with middle and high school girls, giving them concrete accounts of her professional career.

As part of the Wi-Filles program, several topics are covered:

- Lack of interest in school before and just after the baccalaureate

- The different post-baccalaureate training courses

- The significant alternating years

- The choice between university and business schools

- The influence of passions on professional career

- The struggle with English, which eventually led to a passion for international affairs

- And above all… the importance of the network, from high school to today!

Not having had the chance to benefit from such feedback at the time, she now wants to offer a little of her time to help young people chart their own career path.

Launch of the Wi-filles workshops with the Toulon Ouest promotion. The girls spoke with Camille Lopez from HY-Plug about digital but also ecological issues in the maritime sector, more specifically that of pleasure boating. Discovery of professions, challenges, motivation and determination were at the center of the discussions. #becausegirlscan #womenintech "
