On 10 December, Camille made a strategic eight-hour stopover in Barcelona. It was a short visit, but one that revealed Spain's dynamism in the field of maritime decarbonisation.
HY-Plug joins the Barcelona Nautical Cluster
At the Barcelona Nautical Cluster's Christmas cocktail party, attended by around a hundred industry players, HY-Plug officially announced its membership (effective 3 November).
The aim is to strengthen our presence in the Mediterranean and develop synergies around alternative fuels.

Strategic exchanges with the Port of Barcelona
The day continued with a meeting at the Port of Barcelona, as well as with a company specialising in marina management software.
This is because the energy transition does not only concern fuels, but also infrastructure and the digitalisation of ports.
€250 million to accelerate
On 18 November 2025, Spain announced a €250 million plan to support methanol and hydrogen.
In line with this trend, the Port of Valencia is aiming for zero CO₂ emissions by 2030, with massive investments in its electrical infrastructure.
Faced with competition from ports such as Marseille and Genoa, decarbonisation is becoming a real competitive advantage.
