HY-Plug joins WISTA Monaco: a new chapter for women in the maritime industry

On December 14th, HY-Plug officially joined WISTA Monaco , the international association of women in maritime and yachting.

For context:

• WISTA has existed in Monaco since 2004 and today has 30 local members and 6,000 international members .

• The association has historically been intended for women holding very high-level positions in large maritime companies, often at the end of their careers.

  
  

So why is our membership a little surprising?

Because, at 28 years old, HY-Plug represents a new generation of maritime entrepreneurs. Since its launch in 2021:

• We have supported major players such as the Port of Monaco and more than 60 other port stakeholders.

• We contributed to the introduction of biofuel at a refueling station in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, in collaboration with Jean-Loup Thivet.

• We just achieved our record month in January 2026.

  
  

This membership illustrates a turning point for WISTA Monaco, which is now opening its doors to early-career entrepreneurs and innovative players in the maritime energy transition.

Joining this unique network means not only strengthening our connections within the international maritime sector, but also contributing to a community that values the expertise, innovation and impact of women in maritime.
