We are delighted to share with you an article from the Journal des Entreprises dedicated to the collaboration between HY-Plug and Heeding.

A strategic alliance serving the decarbonization of transport and more sustainable mobility.

Heeding and HY-Plug join forces to make transport greener

Heeding from the French Riviera and HY-Plug from the Var region have decided to join forces, expertise and networks to accelerate the decarbonization of air, sea and land transport.

The collaboration between the two was "obvious," according to their leaders. On one side, Heeding (CA: nc), founded in 2024 in Sophia Antipolis, promotes the implementation of renewable energy in the aviation, maritime, and road transport sectors through a platform that connects businesses with suppliers of certified sustainable fuels. On the other, HY-Plug (CA: nc), based in the Var region of France and also located in Monaco, is a consulting firm focused on green technologies and energy in the maritime sector. Their collaboration begins with this partnership.

Entering the Monegasque market

Camille Lopez, founder of HY-Plug—whose clients include TotalEnergies, Rolls-Royce, and the Port of Monaco—brings her expertise in networking, market knowledge, and, of course, the platform itself, to accelerate their growth. "To penetrate the Monegasque market more quickly." Since January 2026, she has been part of Heeding's strategic committee, which she will join in 2027. "We definitely have a long-term vision," she emphasizes . Heeding's objectives are ambitious. "This is a pivotal year," confirms Cédric Choel, co-founder and president. "We want at least 25 distributors on the platform by the end of 2026," 25 distributors that would allow them to cover the entire region, then the country, before expanding into Western Europe.

Priority for 2026: diesel

Hydrogen, electricity, methanol, HVO (diesel produced from vegetable oils or waste), B100 (100% plant-based biofuel), biogas, XTL (cleaner synthetic diesel)... Heeding's platform is as multi-energy as it is multi-sector. The Sophia Antipolis-based startup has nevertheless made the strategic choice to "prioritize the diesel sector in 2026, even though we are not limiting ourselves to diesel substitutes," explains Bruno Arcelin, co-founder and CEO. Because now is the time to invest heavily in it; it aligns perfectly with the road, construction, and maritime markets.

Heeding will have to "strengthen its sales force" and recruit to ideally reach around twenty employees by 2027. The company is also working on a fundraising round for the end of 2026, aiming for "several million euros from players who share the same ambition as us.
