On April 11th and 12th, our team participated in the La Ciotat Superyacht Crew Event , organized by ACREW in partnership with Yachtelec and Macor . This event, which took place at the La Ciotat Shipyard , brought together superyacht captains and crews for two days of practical workshops and specialized training.
The first day offered a variety of sessions, from healthcare regimes to superyacht painting techniques, with a friendly twist thanks to a Pub Quiz where teams competed for prizes.
The second day focused on workshops for captains and engineers, including topics such as lighting solutions, navigation systems and innovations such as hydrogen energy. Participants also learned about waste management and ensuring the safety of children on board.
This event was a great opportunity to strengthen our skills and network in the yachting industry, while discovering innovative and sustainable practices.
