Our participation in UNOC 2025 in Nice and Monaco: commitment to SDG 14 – Life below water

From June 6 to 11, 2025, we had the opportunity to participate in the UNOC (United Nations Ocean Conference), held in Nice and Monaco. This major event aimed to bring together initiatives, challenges, and objectives related to Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water.

Our actions during the week of June 6 to 11

June 6 – UNOC special broadcast on TV Monaco and TV5 Monde: “Oceans: The Great Challenge”

During this program dedicated to ocean challenges, a report highlighted the specific issues facing the Principality of Monaco within the framework of the themes addressed by the UNOC. HY-Plug had the opportunity to participate in the second round table, alongside two other economic stakeholders and two journalists.

We've excerpted a 14-minute segment from this replay that we invite you to discover. This segment perfectly illustrates Monaco's developments and commitments to preserving the oceans.

Please feel free to watch this highlight to better understand the efforts made by Monaco and its partners to protect marine ecosystems.

June 7 and 8 Blue Economy and Finance Forum

The forum brought together more than 2,000 participants to discuss the challenges of financing the blue economy. Over the course of two days, numerous experts presented and discussed a variety of international projects, investment funds, and consortia dedicated to this sector.

We participated in this event as listeners and were able to meet with clusters specializing in the maritime and energy sectors, thus enriching our understanding of current dynamics.
