Camille Lopez Speaks at the Riviera Yachting Symposium

Last April, Camille Lopez, founder of HY-Plug , had the opportunity to participate as a speaker at the Riviera Yachting Symposium , a major event organized by the ECPY (European Committee for Professional Yachting) at the Saint Paul Hotel in Nice. This symposium, now in its 7th edition, is an essential platform for discussions around the developments and challenges of the yachting industry.

During her speech, Camille addressed a crucial topic: the lack of communication on environmental developments and research and development (R&D) in the sector. She stressed the importance of not being seduced by simple "ecological trends" but of focusing on real advances, particularly in terms of the energy mix for the next generations of yachts.

Camille shared concrete information on the various energy sources under development, emphasizing the need to base decisions on solid data rather than passing trends. This exchange helped to highlight the industry’s efforts to integrate sustainable technologies, while providing participants with an informed perspective on the energy future of yachting.

The Riviera Yachting Symposium was also an opportunity to explore other key aspects of the industry, such as the image of yachting, international regulations, and new technologies. Camille’s participation enriched these discussions by bringing a pragmatic vision oriented towards sustainable innovation, an area in which HY-Plug is actively involved.

In short, this event not only served to strengthen HY-Plug 's position as a key player in the industry, but also to open up perspectives on the future directions the sector could take in terms of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
