HY-Plug was highlighted by the Tribune Côté d'Azur, which has followed the company's development since winning the business creation competition in 2022. The TCA journalist, who came to meet us at the Nice Ocean Business Forum, shared the company's main areas of development!

The consultancy firm for innovative projects in the maritime industry was present on all fronts at the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC).
Whether in Monaco at the Blue Economy & Finance Forum (June 7 and 8), but also at the Nice Ocean Business Forum and UNOC, Camille Lopez, founder of HY-Plug , has multiplied her interventions in recent days. An increased presence, necessary to represent the voice of the maritime energy transition, and above all to accelerate it. An activity which perfectly illustrates all the work carried out by the entrepreneur since the launch of her company four years ago. Since its creation near Six-Fours-les-Plages (83), the winner of the 27th edition of the business creation competition supported by the Junior Economic Chamber of Monaco has, in addition to winning awards (Mark Challenge 2021, Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge category 1 student, Marina Award...), multiplied her prospecting campaigns (1,500 prospects in 13 countries). HY-Plug has also obtained Qualiopi certification for its two training courses (Yachting & Pleasure Craft and Maritime Industry) and has strengthened its offer in the design office component. " We offer either market studies or technical studies, now in connection with four energies: hydrogen, electricity, biofuel and biomethane. All this allows us to respond to different uses and needs ," explains Camille Lopez. From now on, we will accelerate our training offer, because we realize that several market players are not yet mature enough to request studies ." Proof of the structure's good financial health, HY-Plug is growing solely thanks to its customer contracts, without borrowing or fundraising.
Focus on cooperation
By acting as a link between shipyards and ports and marinas—such as those in Monaco and Saint-Tropez—Camille Lopez is strategically positioned to assess market developments. A market that, according to her, " takes time to get going ," but nonetheless requires information to successfully complete its energy transition. " The requests for hydrogen are the most numerous, as are the questions about the future of combustion engines. We need to work together," confides the Côte d'Azur native. In this regard, HY-Plug plans to expand its reach in 2025 by collaborating with players in the cruise and maritime transport sectors.
